Dominique Quevedo

Managing Attorney, Long Beach Office and Immigration Access Workgroup

Dominique Quevedo is the Managing Attorney of the Immigration Access Workgroup at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), which represents survivors of violence in affirmative hearings, removal proceedings and applications before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Ms. Quevedo began her career at LAFLA over 15 years ago and has held a number of positions within the Foundation, such as the managing attorney of two of three courthouse-based domestic violence clinics. She has spoken at local and national conferences regarding immigration law, trauma-informed lawyering and vicarious trauma in the legal aid profession.

In 2013, Ms. Quevedo was honored by End Abuse Long Beach for her representation of and commitment to families impacted by domestic violence. She is also the recipient of the 2009 CSULB President’s Commission on the Status of Women and the Department of Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies Lilian Robles Award for her legal advocacy efforts.

Ms. Quevedo received her JD from Loyola Law School and her Master’s Degree in Social Welfare from UCLA.
