The Consumer Law unit advocates on behalf of low-income consumers and homeowners who are targeted by unscrupulous con artists or do not have the means to defend themselves against banks, lenders, and creditors. Consumer problems include:

	Debt Collection
	Foreclosures
	Home Equity Scams
	Home Improvement Contract Fraud
	Unfair Banking Practices
	Unfair Debt Collection

We also conduct consumer rights and protection education throughout the community.
