
Public interest attorneys at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles are an ongoing resource for reporters, editors and producers who seek legal expertise and comment in the areas of consumer problems including foreclosures; housing & eviction issues, such as fair housing and Section 8; immigration problems relating to naturalization, deportation and human trafficking; government benefits including social security, Cal Works and Medicare; employment challenges including unemployment insurance and wage claims; family law issues that address domestic violence, child aduction and child support; and community economic development challenges such as environment/land use and small business development.
