
LAFLA’s Santa Monica Office is funded by the City of Santa Monica and provides legal services to residents of Santa Monica only. In addition, we have a Domestic Violence Clinic and a Self Help Legal Access Center at the Santa Monica Courthouse. Our attorneys also work closely with local agencies and city services to provide the following services:

LAFLA operates Self Help Legal Access Centers in Santa Monica, Inglewood, Long Beach and Torrance. The Centers are a collaboration between LAFLA, the County of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Superior Court and Neighborhood Legal Services. They are walk-in clinics that offer individuals who are representing themselves legal information, assistance in preparing legal forms, guidance on a variety of civil matters, including evictions, divorces and paternity actions, and civil harassment. Referrals to private attorneys or legal services programs are provided as needed.

Days and Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-12 noon, 1:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Fridays 9:00 a.m.-12 noon only. The Center is closed on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
