Fatima Dadabhoy

Managing Intake Attorney

Fatima Dadabhoy oversees the intake process throughout LAFLA. Prior to joining LAFLA, she was the Senior Civil Rights Attorney at the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Greater Los Angeles Area office (CAIR) where she managed the direct legal services department which advocated on behalf of clients experiencing religious discrimination in the areas of employment, immigration benefit and naturalization delay, public accommodation, hate crimes, and national security. She also provided community education workshops and worked on policy and advocacy issues relating to the American Muslim community.

Fatima has also worked in private practice in the areas of employment discrimination, wage and hour, and bankruptcy. She is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach and Santa Clara University School of Law.

We also have three Domestic Violence Clinics, located at the Superior Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, the Santa Monica Courthouse and the Long Beach Courthouse.

LAFLA operates four Self-Help Legal Access Centers located in the Inglewood, Long Beach, Santa Monica and Torrance courthouses.
