Managing Attorney, Self-Help Legal Access Centers

Lisa Morris oversees LAFLA’s Self-Help Legal Access Centers at the Santa Monica, Inglewood, Torrance and Long Beach courthouses which provide self-represented litigants with legal information and pleading assistance.

Lisa initially joined LAFLA in 1998 as a staff attorney providing legal education and representation to low-income tenants and community based organizations. Prior to returning to LAFLA, Lisa served as a compliance officer for a youth job training organization and in-house counsel for a child care development agency.

Lisa received her BA in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. She has been an active member of the California State Bar since 1997 and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.

We also have three Domestic Violence Clinics, located at the Superior Courthouse in downtown Los Angeles, the Santa Monica Courthouse and the Long Beach Courthouse.

LAFLA operates four Self-Help Legal Access Centers located in the Inglewood, Long Beach, Santa Monica and Torrance courthouses.
