How Do I Qualify?

Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles follows federal poverty guidelines and assists only low-income people. People with income less than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines are eligible and may qualify for assistance, however, sometimes people with less than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines can qualify as well. At our Self-Help Centers, we can help anyone of any income level. We have four Self-Help Centers: Torrance, Inglewood, Long Beach and Santa Monica. Click here to locate the Self-Help Center closest to you.
