Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’ family law practice covers many areas of law, and focuses on helping domestic violence victims and survivors leave abusive relationships.
We can help with these issues:
- Restraining orders
- Child custody
- Child concealment
- Child support
- Property division
- Consumer debt
- Government benefits
- Immigration-related issues, including family reunification
- Sexual assault

Domestic Violence Clinics
We run three domestic violence clinics in downtown LA, Long Beach and Santa Monica.
Their locations and hours are:
Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 8:30-11:30 a.m. & 1:30-3:30 pm. Closed Tuesdays and Thursdays. Walk-ins only, no appointments are available.
Long Beach Courthouse

Santa Monica Courthouse

Hours: Monday-Wednesday and Friday. 8:30-11:00 a.m. Closed Thursdays. Walk-ins only, no appointments are available.
