As the Grants & Contracts Manager at LAFLA since 2018, Cara Dolan is the primary liaison to granting agencies and contractual partners, including negotiating contract terms consistent with LAFLA program priorities and implementation of policies and procedures to effect programmatic compliance with all public and private funding contracts. She is also the lead on grant proposal development and submission, program monitoring visits, and reporting.
Cara has been doing fundraising and grants management for over 15 years including as part of the development teams at New York University School of Law and Columbia Law School. Before coming to LAFLA, Cara most recently managed domestic and international funds for humanitarian programs for the International Rescue Committee in Sierra Leone, and for the Women’s Refugee Commission in their New York office. Cara has her Master’s degree in International Affairs and Conflict Resolution from The New School.
