Hamid Jahangard serves as LAFLA’s Chief Development and Marketing Director, where he oversees development including institutional, individual and corporate giving as well as marketing and strategic communications. Working with LAFLA’s board of directors, leadership, and staff, Hamid’s primary responsibility rests in increasing, enhancing, and strengthening the organization’s external relations through impactful and meaningful communications and engagement strategies.
Hamid joins LAFLA after launching and managing his consulting firm, HJ Blueprint, LLC., where he ensured fundraising success for his clients through annual & special giving, major giving, institutional giving, corporate activations, and event fundraising. Prior to launching his consulting firm, Hamid served as the Director of Development for the William’s Institute at the UCLA School of Law. At the Institute, Hamid was responsible for the comprehensive development operations including major, principal, and annual giving, event fundraising, donor and board relations, and institutional funding including corporate sponsorships. In his tenure Hamid closed six and seven figure gifts and was responsible for a multi-million dollar fund-development operatus annually. Hamid brings with him more than a decade of experience in frontline fundraising, financial management and leadership experience at Loyola Law School and Cal State University, Northridge. He is excited to be part of such an impactful, energetic, and compassionate team in this role. Hamid received his B.S. and his M.B.A. from California State University, Northridge.
