Julianna Lee is a supervising attorney of the Supporting Families Workgroup at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles where she manages two court-based domestic violence clinics and leads the Foundation’s family law and domestic violence practice. She leads the Family Law Coalition, a group of family law and domestic violence legal services advocates in the greater LA area, and sits on the Policy Advisory Council for the California Partnership to End Domestic Violence. Julianna is also engaged in LAFLA’s policy work related to domestic violence, family law, and access to justice.
Prior to LAFLA, Julianna was a supervising attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia where she also focused on family law and domestic violence. Following law school, Julianna started her legal career at the Southern Poverty Law Center working on statewide juvenile justice reform to reduce incarceration and court involvement for Alabama’s youth. Julianna received her JD from the University of Michigan Law School, a master’s from Harvard University, and a BA from Wellesley College.
