Ronnette Ramos

Managing Attorney, Medical-Legal Partnerships

Ronnette Ramos manages LAFLA’s Medical-Legal Partnerships. Ronnette works alongside our attorneys and paralegals working with healthcare professionals to identify and help patients reach their optimal health. Ronnette oversees our clinics located at TCC Family Clinic, Martin Luther Ling, Jr. Outpatient Center, Long Beach Comprehensive Health Center, and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.

Ronnette first joined LAFLA in 2000 as the coordinating attorney for the Unlawful Detainer Equal Access Project, wherein she educated, encouraged, and provided direct legal services to low-income residents facing evictions through Day of Trial Representation and Trial Preparation Clinics.

After leaving LAFLA in 2003, Ronnette continued to help the residents of Los Angeles County by assisting self-represented litigants in family law, unlawful detainer, and other civil matters as a Site Supervising Attorney for the Self-Help Legal Access Centers. Just prior to returning to LAFLA in November 2011, Ronnette served as a Supervising Attorney for the Los Angeles Superior Court, where she managed and oversaw the daily operations for the nation’s largest resource center for self-represented litigants at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, as well as launched the Pasadena Court’s Resource Center for self-represented litigants.

Ronnette has an undergraduate degree from Boston College and a JD from Loyola Law School. Ronnette has served as a presenter and facilitator for the Statewide Conference on Self-Represented Litigants, the Pathways to Justice Conference, the Equal Justice Conference, NLADA Annual Conference, LAAC/AOC Family Law Conference, and the National Conference on Medical-Legal Partnerships.  Ronnette was honored as the Philippine American Bar Association’s Community Champion in 2015.
