Sara Williams oversees all external and internal communications and marketing activities at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles. In her role, Sara facilitates LAFLA’s media relations; manages and creates content across all digital properties (social media, website, email); produces marketing materials; leads special projects such as the annual report; and develops outreach and advocacy strategies.
Prior to joining LAFLA, Sara led digital communications at the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles. Sara has also provided communications and marketing support as a consultant for clients in various fields (including the nonprofit and legal sectors). At the outset of her career, Sara served as a television news producer at network affiliates in San Diego and California’s Central Coast. She received her Master of Public Administration degree from New York University, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in broadcast journalism and international relations from the University of Southern California.
