As a Supervising Attorney with the Eviction Defense Center, Phil Leamon oversees a group of attorneys and paralegals defending tenants facing evictions primarily in the Compton Courthouse. Prior to joining LAFLA, Phil Leamon served as a Senior Attorney with Community Legal Aid, focusing on protecting tenant’s rights. Prior to moving to California, Phil served as a public defender for five years providing indigent defense in rural Nevada, and later served as a Municipal Court Judge in West Wendover, Nevada.

Phil received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, and his B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
