WHO WE ARE
LAFLA is a nonprofit law firm that protects and advances the rights of the most underserved—leveling the playing field and ensuring that everyone can have access to the justice system.

Ian Stringham

Managing Attorney, Veterans Justice Center

Ian Stringham is the managing attorney for the Veterans Justice Center (VJC) at LAFLA. VJC’s work with veterans includes discharge upgrades, obtaining access to benefits, record clearing, housing law and family law.

Ian joined LAFLA in 2022 as part of the Restoring Communities workgroup, which handles reentry and record-clearing matters. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and his Juris Doctorate from the UCLA School of Law.
