Small Claims Housing Workshop (July 15, 2025)
If you’re a renter whose housing has been affected by the recent wildfires, you may have legal options through small claims court. Join us for a Disaster Relief Workshop to learn how the small claims process can help address issues such as:
- Security deposit returns
- Habitability concerns (e.g., smoke or ash damage)
- Other landlord-tenant disputes

FEMA Appeals Clinic (July 22, 2025)
If you applied for FEMA relief and disagree with their decision, you have the right to appeal—and we can help! Join LAFLA’s upcoming FEMA Appeals Workshop to get step-by-step guidance on how to file an appeal and understand your rights in the process. The session will feature a presentation and a live Q&A with an attorney to answer all your questions.
