Cliff was born and raised in Ohio and relocated to Los Angeles in 2011 for graduate studies in Clinical Psychology. In addition to an MA in Clinical Psychology, Cliff also holds a BS in Human Resources Management and an MBA with HR Focus. Cliff is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional and began his career in Human Resources in 2007. Since that time, he has provided HR support and lead HR teams in several industries: retail, mental healthcare, and education.

Cliff has more than 15 years of leadership experience building teams in high-performing, mission-driven organizations. He has successfully led organizational transformation initiatives, modernized HR operations, and implemented programs that enhance both the employee experience and institutional performance. His expertise spans employee relations, organizational development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, leadership coaching, change management, performance management, policy development, and employment law compliance. In his free time Cliff enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with his husband and his dog, Daisy.
