Dan Johnson serves as the Intake Supervisor at LAFLA where he supports the coordination of client services at the initial point of contact.
Dan brings extensive experience to his work, including community outreach, youth counseling, project coordination, and team leadership. Prior to joining LAFLA, he supported the Early Childhood Education Student Advancement Program at the Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity and held over a decade of leadership roles at McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams and Mattel.
Dan earned his Master of Social Work from California State University, Northridge and his Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media Arts from Temple University. He has volunteered extensively, including roles as a RAINN crisis hotline counselor, CYS youth mediator, and AmeriCorps member.
