Andrew Kazakes is a managing attorney at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, where he represents low-income clients with a broad range of public benefits issues as part of LAFLA’s Economic Stability Workgroup. He’s litigated writs of mandate in Superior Court and the Court of Appeal, including cases involving the California Department of Social Services and the Department of Health Care Services. He previously held positions with LAFLA’s Eviction Defense Center and Medical Legal Community Partnership. Andrew has been with LAFLA since 2013.
Andrew received his juris doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and his undergraduate degree from Swarthmore College.
