Brianna Aguet

Supervising Attorney, Eviction Defense Center

Brianna Aguet serves as the Supervising Attorney at the Long Beach Eviction Defense Center (EDC), where she leads a dedicated team of attorneys and paralegals committed to defending tenants’ rights and preventing homelessness. In this role, Brianna oversees the EDC’s operations, ensuring that every client receives comprehensive and compassionate legal representation during unlawful detainer (eviction) actions.

With over a decade of experience in public interest law, Brianna brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to social justice to the EDC. Her background spans various capacities within the public interest sector, reflecting a sustained dedication to advocacy and community service.

In addition to her supervisory role, Brianna is at the forefront of incorporating innovative technologies to enhance the efficiency of legal services. She is particularly interested in the application of Artificial Intelligence in legal practice and is actively working to integrate Legal AI solutions to streamline processes within the EDC unit and Stay House Los Angeles collective.

Brianna earned her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School, where she focused on public interest law. Her educational background laid the foundation for a career centered on providing holistic client services, ensuring that each individual’s legal and personal needs are addressed with a comprehensive approach.

Motivated by a profound desire to help people, Brianna is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of tenants facing eviction and housing insecurity. She believes in the power of legal advocacy to bring about meaningful change and is dedicated to advancing tenant rights and protections within the community.
