Michelle Pantoja

Grants & Contracts Manager

Michelle is the Grants & Contracts Manager at the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA). She leads the grant proposal development/submission process; develops policies to effect programmatic compliance; and serves as the primary liaison to representatives of granting agencies.

 

Michelle has worked in nonprofit fundraising for the past 6 years, her passions lying at the intersection of accessible resources, community building, and education. Prior to LAFLA, Michelle worked at KCRW as the Institutional Giving Manager. During her time there, she helped fundraise for free community events, news and culture programs, and career development opportunities. In addition, she previously worked with People of Color Productions as a Special Gifts Coordinator to fundraise for a film that celebrates the lives and identities of Queer, Trans, and gender-nonconforming people of color.

 

Michelle received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Professional Writing from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
