Legal Assistance

The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles is the lead legal services provider of Stay Housed LA, which launched in summer 2020. We work with partner organizations to provide free legal assistance to tenants facing wrongful eviction and displacement. Income-eligible tenants receive the legal help they need to stay in their homes.

Community Education

Stay Housed LA provides workshops and educational resources for tenants through our community organization partners. Knowledge is power — understanding their rights keeps more tenants from becoming unhoused.
