At LAFLA, we are excited to welcome our summer class of more than 30 law clerks from 17 law schools. These students join us (some remotely) from 18 cities around the country — from states including North Carolina, Michigan, New York, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Indiana. They also speak 12 languages other than English, ranging from Spanish, Armenian, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean to Hindi, Urdu, Swahili, Farsi, Tagalog, Chinese, and Persian. We are also pleased to announce that 10 of our law clerks make up the second class of our LAFLA Equity and Inclusion Fellowship (LEIF) Program. The LEIF Program is designed to foster a more diverse legal profession, reflect the client communities we serve, and encourage future careers in public interest law.
