William waited 27 years for a second chance. You helped make it possible.
William was initially denied a contractor’s license because of a past conviction, despite the progress he had made in turning his life around. With support from LAFLA, he was able to present strong evidence of his rehabilitation. As a result, a judge recognized his progress and granted him the license.
