To Our Community of Supporters and Allies —

For more than 90 years, lawyers, advocates, staff, and volunteers at Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles have dedicated their energy, passion, and lives to dismantling inequities that impact the lives of our clients and the communities where they live and work.

As a legal services organization, it is times like these when we renew our commitment to eradicate systemic injustice and stand with our client communities that have too long been disenfranchised, disinvested, and discriminated. We bear the responsibility to demand change.

We grieve for the Black lives that have been taken by injustice, and empathize with the pain of the Black community that continues to bear the brunt of racial antipathy. We will always stand with the communities we serve. Black lives matter.
