We encourage each participant to fundraise at least $350 through your networks. However, we appreciate any support you can offer!

Whether or not you join us at the race, you can help raise funds for Team LAFLA! Here are some popular fundraising tips.

• Use social media:
  • Create a fundraiser on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok.
  • Post about why you’re participating in the race and/or raising funds for LAFLA.
  • Post about your fundraising progress and/or race training journey
  • Post public thanks to donors!

• Reach out personally:
  • Send emails to family, friends, or others in your network asking them to support your race or match your donation. Share why you’re participating and/or raising funds for LAFLA.
  • Ask your company to support your race, match your donation, or sponsor the team!

  •  Make sure to thank your donors–and give yourself a pat on the back, too!
