Jana Russell

Jana Russell manages the Support Services workgroup. As the manager, Jana supervises and works with knowledgeable, and highly skilled legal secretaries. We provide legal and administrative assistance to LAFLA advocates and paralegals.  

Jana has over 15 plus years in the law field starting her career with the State Department of Justice and moving through the government to work Federal at United States Attorney Office, Central District to her last experience with San Bernardino County Counsel as a Lead Executive Secretary.  She spent seven years working in the department of Juvenile Dependency, transforming the office into a more sustainable, effective department for their clients. There she supervised the Executive Secretaries that handled thousands of cases related to child abuse and child neglect.   

Jana obtained her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from California State University of Fullerton, in Fullerton, CA and received her master’s degree in criminal justice emphasis in Law from Kaplan University.
